AVAYA IP specialty headset cords - HIS-V, HIC

Many Avaya phones require a specific direct connect cord for headsets. These specialty cords provide you with "on-hook" functionality so that you won't have to lift your telephone handset off the receiver for every call. Only purchase this cable if you have one of the phone models listed below. The cords have a modular plug at one end and a quick disconnect at the other end which connects to Plantronics, Jabra or Smith Corona headsets.

ONLY purchase an Avaya IP cable if you have one of the phones and headsets listed below.
If your phone is not listed contact us for a headset solution.
You must have the corresponding headset quick disconnect for the cords to connect to the headsets

HIS-V = cord includes a 8 position microphone volume control

HIC = Cord is a direct connect cord with no controls

    I purchased this cord to use with a Plantronics headset on an Avaya 9608 phone. The volume control allows me to change the volume level on each call if necessary and has virtually eliminated the echo problem I had on some of my calls.
