Plantronics Discontinues Major Headset Line
Plantronics announces discontinuation of popular SupraPlus Series headsets
On July 17, 2018 Plantronics announced that they will be phasing out their popular SupraPlus Series headsets, commonly known as the HW251N and HW261N, effective early 2019. The last order date will be January 31, 2019 and the last shipment date will be March 31, 2019 or while supplies last. These same headsets will also see a price increase, effective October 1, 2018.
If you're loyal to the Plantronics brand then this news won't have much effect on your equipment buying habits. But, if you're weary of price increases, ever-changing product lines, or the anxiety of your preferred headset choice being out of stock; or if you're a brand skeptic, now is the time to find an alternate headset choice.
