Freedom II Handset Lifter - For the convenience of answering a call on the Freedom Wireless headset while away from your phone.
The purpose of a handset lifter is for the lifter automatically raise the handset up, opening a line and connecting the call while you're away from the desk. When the lifter senses the vibration of the phone ringing, a signal is sent to the wireless and you hear a tone. When the user hears the tone, they press the ON button on the headset, which then lifts the handset off the receiver and the call is connected. When the call ends, simply press the on/off button on the headset again and the handset will drop back down into the cradle disconnecting the call.
The Freedom II lifter will only work with the Freedom II wireless headsets.
To use a handset lifter, your phone must automatically connect a call when the receiver is lifted on an incoming call. Avoid errors and call for more information before ordering online.
